Retreat Recap – August 2019

Over the weekend of August 23rd, Deliver the Dream families participated in a very special Family Retreat sponsored by the Pat Moran Family Foundation. As families from across the Southeast made their way to the Cerveny Conference Center in Live Oak, Florida, Deliver the Dream’s retreat facilitators and volunteers were busy creating a safe environment for children with autism spectrum disorder.

Retreat #180 supported Deliver the Dream families with a child living with ASD or related disabilities. The weekend was full of adapted activities, laughter, friendships, and fun. The safe environment created by Family Pals and volunteers allowed families to let their guard down, knowing that each individual’s needs would be expertly met.
