Family Fun Days Are Back!

The Family Retreats that earned Deliver the Dream a reputation as one of the best charities for supporting children are still on hold due to Covid-19 and its highly contagious delta variant, but we continue to offer virtual programs and we are very excited to once again invite you to enjoy our Family Fun Days!

Join the Fun

Our nonprofit charity teams up with various community partners to create fantastic experiences that will offer something special for everyone in the family – regardless of age or ability. It’s not only an opportunity to get out and spend the day making memories with your family and reinforcing the bonds that connect you, but it’s also a great opportunity to connect with other families facing many of the same challenges that you face. 

Last month, we enjoyed a wonderfully Fun Day at Flamingo Gardens in Davie, Florida. Families engaged in a scavenger hunt that led them through a number of interesting exhibits at the facility – including the David Rogers Big Bugs exhibit, which was, of course, a big hit. When the hunting was over, we all gathered together for lunch, some socializing and some more fun – this time with an arts and crafts project. As you can see from the photos, the event was a great success!

The 2nd Annual Fall Fishing Classic
October 16, 2021, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Vista View Park, 4001 SW 142nd Ave, Davie, FL

Join us for a day of outdoor fun and fishing (a state recreational fishing license is required for our anglers) as well as a picnic in the park. You don’t have to cast a line to enjoy this fabulous Family Fun Day. We’ll be exploring the outdoors and offering interactive activities in addition to fishing, including a scavenger hunt, and nature craft projects. Register today!
