Deliver the Dream’s Family Fun Days offer families an opportunity to come together in an enriching environment.  Community partners work with our staff to create unique activities that offer an enjoyable and fun-filled experience. Family Fun Days allow families to build their social support network, create new memories and remain connected as a family.

The Free Our Seas “Flotsam Fauna” exhibit is a collection of art created from marine debris found on the shores of South Florida beaches.  We invite you to reflect on these visually stunning creations while understanding the importance of ocean conservation and our interconnectedness.  The day would not be complete without joining us for lunch and themed creative activities.  Registration opens July 1st.

Your visit to the Zoo will introduce you to a variety of animals, including some of the rarest and most endangered species on the planet.  The Zoo is also home to many unique and native plants.  A Family Fun Day at the Zoo means more than just getting up close and personal with amazing animals—Deliver the Dream will also provide you with lunch and safari themed projects.

Get ready to cook up something delicious!  Chef Andrew Bennardo, students call him “Chef Baba”, will teach you the fine art of Italian cuisine.  This hands-on cooking class will have you cutting, chopping, pouring and measuring all the ingredients needed to make a classic Italian meal.  Not only do you get to prepare your meal, you will enjoy it with everyone in the class.
