Welcome to a New Year of In-Person AND Virtual Programs for Families

You and your family may be facing difficult challenges as 2022 rolls around, but you are not alone! All of us at Deliver the Dream, a charity that supports children with cancer and other serious illnesses and disabilities and their families, is here for you. 

We are perhaps best-known for our family retreats, but we have a full schedule of in-person events and virtual programs designed to help you and your family make the most of the year ahead.

We are delighted to be able to offer your family an opportunity to join together – with each other and with other families facing similar challenges – to enjoy fun and enriching activities. These in-person events are designed to allow you to build (or expand!) your social support network while also creating wonderful memories as a family.

Cooking Class with Chef Baba

Chef Baba’s Kitchen, 127 NW 13th Street, Boca Raton, FL

Chef Andrew Bennardo – affectionately known as “Chef Baba” by his students – will welcome you and your family to his kitchen. That’s where the magic happens! If you love Italian cuisine, you are going to love this hands-on cooking class. Tie on an apron and get ready to cut, chop, measure and pour all the ingredients that go into a delicious Italian meal, which you and your classmates will enjoy together.

Do you believe in silver linings? The pandemic forced us (and countless other nonprofit charities) into the realm of virtual programming. But we soon discovered that virtual programs could offer any  number of exciting possibilities that allow families to express themselves creatively through a variety of sensory modalities. We send out an extensive toolkit to all participants who register for these hands-on projects, which are designed to promote self-reflection, insight and togetherness.

Home Is Where the Heart Is | A Step In The Right Direction

We are introducing a fun new series for the New Year – Home Is Where the Heart Is! Each one of the virtual programs offered through this series will allow you and your family to work together to create homemade decorative items to adorn your home! Get ready to put your best foot forward because, in Part 1 of this three-part series, you will create a steppingstone for your backyard. Your footprints and handprints will be preserved, like a snapshot of this special time in your lives. REGISTER NOW.
