Join the 10 Days of Connection

One of the things that has always helped to make our charity for children with cancer, autism spectrum disorders and a host of other illnesses and life-limiting conditions is our focus on that child’s place within a family and within a community. 

Maybe it is because of our unique perspective and our willingness to embrace the broader challenges that families face, we have been selected as one of the 10 Days of Connection grantees for Broward County.  

For 10 days each year (May 1 – May 10), this amazing organization invites the entire community to push back against the negativity, hate and intolerance that are hallmarks of our increasingly divided country. 

As their website says, “The 10 Days of Connection was born to challenge divisiveness!” 

How do they do it? By organizing events that are intended to 

• Break down the silos that keep us separated and disconnected
• Foster acts of connectivity
• Celebrate differences instead of disparaging them

Deliver the Dream is teaming up with Arc Broward for a special event dedicated to changing perspectives of how people with disabilities and other life challenges are viewed and included in the community.

 Now in its sixth year, 10 Days of Connection has brought together more than 150 local organizations through a variety of these connection experiences – free virtual, hybrid, or in-person events – designed to expose us to new perspectives and different aspects of life in our community.
