Virtual Program for Children Staying Home and Staying Safe

Here at Deliver the Dream, a nonprofit charity for children facing difficult conditions, we are very happy to be able to introduce a new series of online activities designed to help keep kids happy as well as safe while they are staying home during these difficult days.   

These are tough times for all of us, but we know it is especially challenging for families who are caring for the children our charity serves. That’s why we created our new HOPE at Home program, under the direction of Zachary Goldberg. This exciting new online program offers fun and engaging projects to help keep kids occupied while their outside activities have been forced to be curtailed due to the pandemic.

HOPE at Home

We can’t tell you how excited we are about HOPE at home, our new virtual program, which invites you join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3 pm to enjoy fun activities designed especially for 

We are utilizing some of the amazing tools available to us online to connect with the families and children we serve, including Zoom, Facebook and YouTube. Some of the activities will require supplies, but we know it can be hard to get supplies these days. Just let us know. We have a welcome kit that we will be mailing out that can include supplies. 

We’d like you to share a couple of our preliminary activities with you now:

• Meet Hope the Bear! This friendly little guy (who just happens to be sporting a very stylish shirt with our children’s charity’s logo on it!) is a great coloring activity that will remind you and your child that your friends here at Deliver the Dream are thinking of you.

• Stitch & Sew | The Doll Maker’s Story is a wonderful craft project. If you weren’t able to join us for the live session, don’t worry. You can check out this great video!
